On Tuesday we had to cancel our publication, I have had my first bad news that links the backers. The game has suffered a delay with the miniatures and instead of being ready for Spiel, it will be assembled on October 15th.
In theory they were to be assembled on September 21st, but for reasons beyond my control, they are delayed... my idea was to deliver them while I was selling in Spiel, but sadly I will not be able to give this surprise to anyone. Yes, this implied that it is possible that the backers would see the game even before me, for me it was a gesture of gratitude. It couldn't be.
I have to apologize, I do meet the deadline of delivering it in November, but it will arrive 2 weeks later than I told you and 4 weeks later than my real intention.
Regarding Spiel, I will only carry 150/200 copies (I will not have more copies), which as I promised will not have anything exclusive, not even the coins.
The backers who have pick up there will have their copy without KS version, but they will get the exclusive components later along with the rest of the backers without additional shipping cost (I don't have the exclusive minis in Spiel). Selling in Spiel allows me to afford the trip, but now if I owe you an apology for that, even if you gave me the go-ahead I owe you this apology.
The backers who will pick up their copy at Spiel, please send me a private message via KS with your contact information so I can reach you. Most of you have already done it, but it is to keep a count and not make any mistake.
Despite sounding repetitive, we really apologize for what happened, both Maria and myself. We hope you can understand. And of course, any questions, criticisms, doubts or suggestions we will be happy to read them.

PS: once assembled the time it takes to get the games to Murcia to proceed with the shipments to Europe and UK (4-5 days from the shipment of Murcia to your homes, 3-4 days to Spain). To USA and Asia it will take as long as it takes for the games to arrive from Germany by ship, once there the distributors will start with the shipments to the backers.
El martes tuvimos que cancelar nuestra publicación, he tenido mi primera mala notica que vincula a los mecenas. El juego ha sufrido un retraso con las miniaturas y en lugar de estar para Spiel, lo ensamblan el día 15 de octubre.
En teoría se montaban el día 21 de septiembre, pero por motivos ajenos a mí, se retrasan... mi idea era entregarlos mientras yo estaba vendiendo en Spiel, pero tristemente no voy a poder dar esta sorpresa a nadie. Si, esto implicaba que es posible que los mecenas vierais el juego incluso antes que yo, para mí era un gesto de agradecimiento. No ha podido ser.
Tengo que pedir disculpas, sí que cumplo con el plazo de entregarlo en noviembre, pero os llegará 2 semanas más tarde de lo que os comenté y 4 semanas de mi verdadera intención.
Respecto a Spiel, voy a llevar solo 150/200 copias (no tendré más copias), las cuales como prometí no tendrán nada exclusivo, ni siquiera las monedas.
Los mecenas que tienen recogida allí tendrán su copia sin versión KS, pero le llegarán los componentes exclusivos posteriormente junto al resto de mecenas sin coste adicional de envío (no tengo las minis exclusivas en Spiel). El vender en Spiel me permite costearme el viaje, pero ahora si os debo disculpas por ello, aunque me dierais el visto bueno os debo esta disculpa.
Los mecenas que recogerán su copia en Spiel, por favor, mandar un privado por KS con vuestros datos para teneros localizados. La mayoría ya lo habéis hecho, pero es para llevar un recuento y no cometer ningún error.
A pesar de sonar repetitivos, de verdad os pedimos disculpas por lo ocurrido, tanto María como yo. Esperamos que lo podáis entender. Y por supuesto, cualquier pregunta, crítica, duda o sugerencia estaremos encantados de leerlas.

PD: una vez ensamblado el tiempo que tarde en llegarnos los juegos a Murcia para proceder con los envíos a Europa y UK (4-5 días desde el envío de Murcia a vuestras casas, 3-4 días a España). A EEUU y Asía lo que tarden los juegos en llegar desde Alemania en barco, una vez allí las distribuidoras comenzarán con los envíos a los mecenas.

Shipping Addresses
Our intention is to speed up the shipping process as soon as possible and have all the addresses ready so that when the sets arrive at the warehouse, distribution can begin.

Nuestra intención es acelerar el proceso de envío lo antes posible y tener todas las direcciones preparadas para que a la llegada de los juegos al almacén comience su distribución.

We were thinking of extending the Backerkit pre-order period for a few days, some people have asked us to do so, so the pledge manager will still be open until August 6th. That same day you will receive an email giving a 48h notice for the total closure.
This does not change the estimated delivery time, in principle everything is going smoothly.

Estábamos pensando en ampliar unos días el plazo de pre-order de Backerkit, algunas personas nos han pedido que lo hagamos, por lo que el generador de promesas aun estará abierto hasta el 6 de agosto, ese mismo día os llegará un mail dando un aviso de 48h para el cierre total.
Esto no varia en nada los plazos de entrega estimada, en un principio todo va viento en popa.

Queremos dar las gracias a Paul, una persona que apareció en nuestras vidas por arte de magia y sin pretenderlo se convirtió, no sólo en el traductor a inglés de Captain’s Log, si no en un amigo.
No nos cansaremos de decir lo agradecidos que estamos de haber encontrado, gracias a este proyecto, a todas esas personas que de forma altruista nos habéis apoyado.
Paul ha querido regalaros un pequeño relato, que sin duda a más de uno nos hará sumergirnos literalmente en el océano.

IMPORTANT!
Three years ago today, Anastasio and I said "I do". A year later the idea of Captain's Log and PIFgames appeared.
It is not easy to work side by side, there are disagreements, anger, shouting, stress... but also many joys, laughter, complicity, learning, personal and couple growth.
This photo shows you how we are and how, probably, we have completely lost the little sanity we had.

Update.
All the components are ready to be manufactured, except for the loading tower, which we will send the design today.
We are anxious to see the results and that you can enjoy the game as soon as possible.

¡IMPORTANTE!
Hoy hace 3 años que Anastasio y yo nos dimos el “sí quiero”. Un año después apareció la idea de Captain’s Log y PIFgames.
No es fácil trabajar codo con codo, hay desacuerdos, cabreos, gritos, estrés… pero también muchas alegrías, risas, complicidad, aprendizajes, crecimiento personal y en pareja.
Esta foto os muestra cómo somos y cómo, probablemente, hayamos perdido por completo la poca cordura que teníamos.

Actualización.
Ya están todos los componentes listos para su fabricación a falta de la torre de carga que mandaremos el diseño hoy mismo.

SPIEL '22:
We have managed to get a booth at Spiel '22, so we will be able to have some tables where we can play it. In addition, and of course, anyone who wants to pick up their order there will have to follow the following steps:

Nuestro navío se acerca al penúltimo puerto antes de poder ensamblar todo el juego. Allí descargará el diseño de la caja y ambos reglamentos (modo estándar y modo experto), estamos trabajando mucho en ello y pidiendo al viento que sople a nuestro favor para amarrar en puerto lo antes posible.

SPIEL '22:
Hemos conseguido obtener un stand en el Spiel ’22, con lo que podremos tener algunas mesas dónde poder jugarlo. Además, y por supuesto, cualquier persona que quiera recoger su pedido allí deberá seguir los siguientes pasos:
Inconvenientes. Backerkit sólo me permite que Local Pickup sea un solo lugar, por lo que a todos los que selecciones esta opción os aparecerá que actualmente esta puesto Murcia (España). No os preocupéis, en agosto a todos los que marquéis esta opción os pediré que especifiqueis el lugar concreto de recogida, ya sea Essen, Murcia o Lanzarote.
Novedades.
Hemos incorporado unas pequeñas piezas de mercado, más bien, semi-mercado para colocarlas cómo recordatorio.
Os adjuntamos las primeras imágenes que nos han hecho llegar desde el fabricante de cómo será la cuna dónde irán las miniaturas y los dados, si, nosotros nunca habíamos visto unos dados incorporados dentro de la cuna de las miniaturas. Las exclusivas de KS se incluirán fuera de esta cuna.
